Even though this is the only boat launch located in West Kelowna, it remains a great choice to launch from as it usually isn't busy. Good traffic flow and free parking are also perks of this launch located at the West Kelowna Yacht Club.
One of the most action packed boat launches on Lake Okanagan, both with boats being put in the water and with people walking around the boardwalks, it can get a little crazy here in peak hours. There are parking officials that keep things moving, which makes the flow of traffic consistently good.
Also known as Eldorado Marina and Lakeshore Road Boat Launch, can be quite crowded too as most of the locals in the area launch here. One of the perks, although it comes with a small cost, is the ample parking for both regular vehicles and those with trailers.
With two launches to choose from, you're almost guaranteed to get in the water quickly and find free parking nearby. If you're looking to have our rentals dropped off here, there is a small fee applied.
Summerland is one of the most beautiful places you can get your boat in the water. With beaches like Sun-Oka only a short ride away, you'll have a full day of water sports and relaxation combined! Delivery fees also apply here if choosing to rent jet skis from Kelowna Sea-Doo Rentals.
If you're tired of the traffic on Lake Okanagan, this could be the ideal place for you to spend your day on the water. And, depending on what time of year you're boating, this lake turns a beautiful turquois colour that is magical to see. Delivery here also warrants a small fee in addition to our rental prices.
One of the few locations on Westside Road that has a boat launch. Because it is located in a privately held resort, this launch is not considered public and use should be cleared ahead of time.
2751 Westside Road, Kelowna
A really great location for camping and getting outside of the hustle and bustle. This lesser known boat launch is typically used by the guests of the provincial park, which means it can be get spot to get your boat on the water when other launches are busy. Not a ton of parking here though, so be aware.
BC-97, Summerland
There are 2 different launch locations here, one inside the Fintry village, and the other inside the actual park. The village launch is rather small and looks to be more of an unofficial 'locals only' location. The launch inside the park has plenty of room to both put your boat in the water, and to park afterwards.
Fintry Delta Road, Vernon
Another lesser known boat launch on the south side of Okanagan Lake. Generally not super busy, even during the heaviest tourism months. This can be a great choice if your chosen launch in Summerland or Penticton is really backed up or there are problems. Only things to consider is the lack of a dock for mooring, and if water levels are low, the launch can be a bit shallow.
