Located about 21km north of Kelowna on Westside road, and 16km south of the Fintry Provincial Park, this boat launch is technically not public. It has a fuel station, one of the few on this side of the lake, and is home to the famous 'Tiki Bar'. There is plenty of guest boat parking, although on windy days it is only advisable to use the buoys to tie to as the docks would induce heavy rubbing with the waves.
More Information
- Has a 1 lane boat ramp, which has a steep drop and very little room to maneuver. If you have a large boat, it would be best to launch at Fintry Provincial Park.
- Little to no parking for outside traffic, signage for paid parking in areas of the resort
- No staging area, and if there is any kind of traffic it would make this launch almost unusable.
- Has a large marina, as well as plenty of dock space for mooring.
